This is one of the infographics I’ve been making as part of a classroom display. I wanted to display all the key points about each group of elements, in a way that was both clear and engaging for the pupils – as a consequence, the information presented is relatively basic, so that it’s accessible for as many of the year groups as possible. I also tried to include some information regarding uses of the elements or compounds containing them, in order to make it relevant and pique the pupils’ interest.
There are a couple of others finished with the others being works in progress that will hopefully be completed over the next few weeks. If you want to use these infographics yourself, whether you’re a fellow teacher or you just want them for personal use, please feel free to download the higher resolution pdf file for printing. My only request is that the website watermark be left in place.
